you and I, 3al rawche


on a lazy afternoon, eating labneh w zaitoun w zeit..and drinking chai..
the sun in my eyes, the breeze, the sea on my lips.
and you. indifferent. all smiles.
the sun in my eyes.

i remember jogging on the bend with my walkman turned full blast so as not to hear the shou ya 'ashta etc etc
you brought back memories...and memories...

oh and the madamet jogging with full makeup, palmolive hair and tight leotards among ka3k ka3k and 3aranees and killer bike kids.
yey but the view from 614 on an evening in spring when the waters are lit by the fishermen lights like VanGogh's starry sky painting-nothing like it

I missed the sea!
Call me crazy, but I missed the sea so mush that a few months ago I bought an audio from 'natural sounds' reccorded on the sea, it's called surf and spray.. so you could here the waves splashing... I put it on from time to time and picture myself in you picture L :)

this is just next to the big rocks you guys, we were sitting in one of those small cafes..so it is not 3ein el mrayseh or the other side of beirut..
