I wish I can leave it all behind, and run away, far away, where noone can find me and where noone knows me, so I can finally become the person I want to be, uninhibited by expectation, familiarity, and conformity.
As someone who likes who he is, even if I am haunted by past stupidity, I think that, in the process of Becoming, a person cannot run far enough to find an easy metamorphosis. Metamorphosis is hard and it means that the individual must pursue that transformation at all costs. The joy of transition is not that it makes transformation easy, but that it provides a clear landmark by which you may identify your emergence from the cocoon.
