being there

and the hardest thing is not being there. for the morning coffee and evening tea. for the secret crushes and the midnight snacks. the silly jokes and the stolen joints. singing in the shower and tasting that scotch.
so many things i want to say to you and when we meet i forget them all. pretend they're not there. and they keep staring back at me. mocking me.
i look at you and i say them in my head and they sound so easy. and important and beautiful.
i finally gather all the courage i can find and i cant open my mouth.
why is it that i say so little to you and so much to everyone else.

I think it goes this way..."lemaza tansa...7een talkani...nosfa elkalam..."!

Amma Sarah Mclachlan, fa she says:
"And everytime I'm close to you...
there's too much I can't say....
and you just...walk away!"

sometimes things don't always need to be said they are felt. But sometimes things need to be heard or at least read. It's times like that when pen and paper come in handy. Comprende?

This reminds me of this 80's song (iyyem el gharam ya3ne)
"Lamma besma3 sawtak bensa
Kell elli baddi oulou,
Baddi ellak 3alli b2albi
W y2oulou shou ma y2oulou...
Eltellak baddi shoufak,
Ta e7kilak 3an hammi,
3an elli shaghelli bali
W elli 3am yejri bdammi,
Baddi ebda, kif? ma ba3ref
Rakkib kelmi 3ala kelmi,
Khayef tetlakhbat afkari
Aw 7atta ensa esmi.."

Bass 3an jadd "why is it that i say so little to you and so much to everyone else"? Ghareeb kifna mrakkabin ghalat yo!

Bass 3ajabetneh haydeh men Hashem:
"Amma Sarah Mclachlan, fa she says" bel 3arabeh el na7aweh kamen :)
